Switch Your S Corp Payroll to a Team That Runs It
If you run your S corp payroll yourself, or inherited a setup no one checked, our payroll team takes it over: setup, every monthly run, every deposit and return. Your CPA stays your CPA.
Pick a time with a payroll expert. 30 minutes, no obligation.

Before and after
What changes when you switch
Today, you or your payroll app own the setup, the monthly run, the deposits, the returns and the notices. After you switch, a payroll team owns all of it. You approve each run, and your CPA keeps setting your salary and doing your returns.
On our managed payroll service, our team works inside the payroll system a client already uses. The S corp package works differently: we set your payroll up on our system, so there is no payroll account for you to set up or log in to.
Stays with your company
Your state accounts, your EIN and your pay history stay with your company. We pick up from where your current provider stops.
Why owners switch
Common reasons owners switch
You are the payroll department
Every month you log in, check the numbers and fix what looks wrong. That time belongs to your business.
Agency letters keep arriving
A notice about a late deposit, a missing return or a state account you did not know you needed. Each one takes a phone call to sort out.
Your setup was never finished
State accounts left half registered, a salary that never got updated, or a provider you signed up for and never really used.
Switch date
When to switch: January 1 is the cleanest date, but any month works
Switching at the start of a quarter keeps each quarterly return with a single provider. January 1 is the cleanest of all, because the new year starts with no prior wages to load.
Switching mid-year
Switching mid-quarter or mid-year is fine too. We load what your old provider already paid and filed, so your returns and your W-2 still cover the full period. General information about payroll timing, not tax advice for your situation.
Your paperwork
What to gather before the call
You will usually find these in your records or your current payroll account. Missing something? We help you find it.
Before the call
Your EIN letter and the IRS letter accepting your S election
The salary figure your CPA set
Your state withholding and unemployment account numbers, if you already have them
This year's payroll registers or year-to-date totals from your current provider
Any payroll tax returns already filed this year, such as Form 941
A voided check for the business account that funds payroll
The handover
How the switch works
Five steps. You book the call and send a few documents, and we handle the rest.
Five steps
1.
Book a call. Tell us your state, your pay date, who runs your payroll today and the date you want to switch.
2.
Send the documents on the list above. If your state accounts are not open yet, we register them.
3.
We set up your payroll on our system with the salary your CPA set, load your prior wages and year-to-date taxes, and set up direct deposit.
4.
Together we pick the last run with your current provider, and we plan the cutover so pay dates and returns line up with no gaps or overlaps.
5.
Your first paycheck with us runs on schedule. You approve each run, and you can close the old account.

Cost after the switch
One flat monthly price after you switch
$149 a month, flat, for your monthly payroll run, every tax deposit and return, your W-2 and a dedicated payroll manager. $249 setup once, which includes loading your prior wages. $249 per state tax account, only for accounts we register for you. Bookkeeping and tax returns stay with your CPA.
Switching questions
Can I switch S corp payroll in the middle of the year?
Yes. We load your prior wages and year-to-date taxes, so a single W-2 covers the whole year. Loading them is included in the $249 setup.
When is the best time to switch?
The start of a quarter keeps the quarterly returns clean, and January 1 is the cleanest date of all, because there are no prior wages to load for the new year. Any month works, though.
Will I lose my state tax accounts?
No. The accounts belong to your company, not to your payroll provider. We use your existing account numbers. The $249 per state tax account line applies only to accounts we register for you.
Do I have to log in to run payroll after I switch?
No. You never set up or log in to a payroll system. We run your salary on the date you choose, and you approve each run.
Does my CPA need to do anything?
Nothing changes for your CPA. They keep setting your salary and preparing your returns, and we work alongside them.
What does it cost?
$149 a month, flat, plus $249 setup once. If we register a state tax account for you, that is $249 per account. Month to month, no minimum term.
